2020 Senior Rep – Clayton

Meet 2020 Senior Rep- Clayton!  I had the pleasure of meeting with Clayton and his mom earlier this spring to talk about the details of being a senior rep.  My first impress of Clayton is, he’s so quiet!  As we talked I began to learn a bit more about him through snippets of conversation shared over pizza.

Scholar

Clayton is a hard working perfectionist who expects a lot out of himself.  He’s a straight A student, working to prepare for his future goals taking  AP math and science classes to name a few.  Even in our short time together it was easy to tell academics and maintaining his stellar GPA are very important to him.

Athlete

When Clayton isn’t studying,  you’ll likely find him playing baseball.  A huge asset to his high school team, he’s flexible enough to play different positions based on where he’s needed most.   Clayton shared that his favorite thing about baseball is getting to enjoy spending time with his friends on the team.

Once school play wraps up, Clayton and several of his teammates continue playing travel baseball over the summer.  The travel league gives him a chance to continue doing what he loves, improve his skills and get to know players from other schools.  This week he pitched a great game and helped his travel team earn their first win of the season!
