Autumn and Drew did a beautiful job planning their wedding in hues of rose and navy. Autumn and Drew were married on their 9 year dating anniversary May 23rd. Due to COVID, the big celebration with family and friends would have to wait. This couple is filled with grace and love. They so easily gave up their original plans to keep their family and friends safe and healthy, truly the spirit of Christ shining through them.
I have to be honest. I usually don’t get teary until well into the wedding day. However, at this wedding, I was nearly in tears before I even got out of the car! I was immediately drawn in by the sentimental details upon arriving at their wedding venue. Signs and memorabilia celebrating their 3,365 days of dating decorated winding path to the ceremony site. Yes! You read that right! Autumn and Drew dated for 3, 365 days, that’s 9.21 years! Pictures from middle school, through college and their May 23rd wedding adorned the long drive inviting guests to reminisce and enjoy. A beautiful tribute to their families, they displayed wedding pictures of their parents and grandparents also.
Already being married, didn’t seem to diminish Drew and Autumn’s wedding day in any way, it may have even enhanced it. They shared one of the sweetest most emotional first looks ever! Under the arbor Drew built with his dad, to propose under, Drew was absolutely overcome with emotion at the site of his beautiful wife in all her bridal finery. Next, they shared sweet romantic portraits before being joined by their friends.
They love others and are loved by others so well, their wedding party, included nine on each side. Autumn shared that when she walked into David’s Bridal and saw the hues of rose combination, she knew that was what she wanted! She spent an entire day thinking of the coloring of each of her friends and the color they would look best in. She did an awesome job, all the girls looked beautiful! What a sweet and thoughtful bride!
The guys all looked so dapper in their navy. My favorite picture is when they lifted Drew! Much to my surprise they then tossed him in the AIR!!!! It was rough on the boutonnieres, but what a great picture!!! Drew also said it was AWESOME!
Autumn and Drew planned to have all their pictures completed before the ceremony. This would allow them to spend their reception time focusing on fun with their guests. I still managed to talk them into sneaking away for just a few sunset portraits. I would highly recommend!
Autumn and Drew thank you so much for the privilege of capturing your special day! I’ve been so blessed by your families and capturing many memories and milestones over the years. You’re such a blessing to me! Sit back and enjoy a sneak peak of their beautiful wedding day!
