I’m so excited to be able to share these photos with you! I was honored to be part of an Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum Wedding Styled Shoot, put together by Wedding Day Magazine. While I couldn’t share all the photos right away, I though the weekend of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival would be the perfect time! The museum building was constructed for the Auburn Automobile Company in 1929. According to their website “It is one of the finest examples of Art Deco architecture in the Midwest.” The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was named a National Historic Landmark in 2005.
I had no idea the museum is available as a wedding venue! During the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum Wedding styled shoot I was able to learned about many of it’s features. It is such a unique and stunning venue it is a perfect location for a wedding. The high ceilings and grand staircase give an air of elegance to any event. Of course let’s take a minute to talk about those cars! They are simply amazing! I have to admit, I’m not a car or a history buff, and I found the showroom cars absolutely fascinating! The Auburn Cord Dusenberg Museum staff were even gracious enough to let our model sit in one for some photos! They are absolutely some of my top favorites of this shoot!
Beyond the stunning showroom, the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum has a cocktail area and spacious ballroom with several lighting options. Perfect for dinner and plenty of room to dance, dance, dance!
Next, let me tell you about the team of vendors for this shoot. Sarah of All in the Details was phenomenal! She coordinated everything from wedding gown, to table linens, invitations and jewelry. Sarah communicated with the team often and efficiently, and left no detail out. She worked tirelessly all day long to make sure things came together smoothly! Sarah is the owner and executive planner of All in the Details an event planning and design company based out of Indianapolis. She also has ties to northern Indiana and enjoys planning wedding in a variety of locations. I cannot recommend her enough! I could go on and on I was so impressed!
Blush Bridal and Beauty Boutique supplied a remarkable dress ! I loved the bead work on the front! Our model bride was fabulous! With a Marilyn Monroe look, Haley was the perfect choice for this shoot. She was so much fun to work with! Something Blue Stylists were on site even before I arrived, doing Haley’s hair and make-up, giving her a stunning look! I could go on and on about how wonderful this entire team was, but instead I will just let you see the fruits of their labor for yourself!
