Boho Senior Session

I am so in love with Elena’s boho senior session!  She and her mom met me Salamonie Lake State Park  late in the afternoon when the light was beautiful!   We had so much fun exploring and creating some shots Elena thought of.  As we explored, they shared about their trip over fall break.  They spent a bit of time shopping for senior picture outfits.  What a great oppotunity to shop at stores not found in our area.

 

Tall Grasses, Yes please!

I would shoot in tall grasses all. day. long, and Salamonie did not disappoint!  Elena was so fabulous!  She even brought a pair of Crocs in case she needed to walk in a muddy area.  We put them to good use. 😉   Elena was so willing to wade into the tall frondy grasses and I think it was so worth it!  She is aboslutely stunning!

 

A Passion for Music

Elena has a passion for music and for Jesus.  She is part of her churches worship team and wants to study to be a worship minister herself.  And if you haven’t heard her sing a solo, you are missing out!  She is amazing!    So, it was natural to incorporate music into her senior pictures.   The music toss was a fabulous idea she wanted to try.  I suggested she bring more music that she thought she could possibly need, and she did.  We did a couple takes and it was so much fun!  Elena also plays the guitar, and strummed a bit for me as we took pictures.  I love the joy on her face as she’s playing.

 

Fading Light

As the light was fading, we wrapped up in a garden maintained by Master Naturalists.   The light was fading enough, that the birds were coming in to roost in the trees nearby.  The sounded HUGE!  The birds certainly gave us some good laughs.   Elena was fabulous throughout, and didn’t let the birds ruffle her feathers.  LOL!  I couldn’t resist, but seriously those are the biggest sounding birds I’ve ever heard!
