There is so much I’m thankful for today, Christmas Mini Session at Stauffer Farms are just one of them! As I headed out to the Y this morning, I heard the radio announcer giving details about a 4-car accident on my husbands route to work. Praying he was safe, I waited “forever” for the car to find my phone’s bluetooth. As soon as there was a connection I called him (hands-free for both of us, of course). As soon as I heard him pick up relief washed over me, and I sent a quick prayer of thankfulness. He has a crazy long commute and wasn’t in the area of the accident site yet. The nearness of my feelings of gratitude stuck with as I wrapped up my workout and headed home.
I’m so thankful to be able to partner with Amy and Eddie to offer Christmas Mini Session at Stauffer Farms . As soon as you step in to their amazing antique barn you sense the joyful spirit of Christmas. Christmas music plays softly in the background. The scents balsam and pine fill the air as the barn is filled to the brim with beautiful Christmas trees! They offer several different varieties and sizes of trees. We put one of their trees on our enclosed front porch a few years ago, It smelled wonderful every time we walked in the door, we left it up long past Christmas. Amy uses one of her many talents to make wreathes that decorate the barn in various places. You’ll want to get there early to pick your favorite–they go fast!
Amy and Eddie are there to help you select a tree just right for your home. Eddie will even cut the end off and help you secure your tree for the drive home. They chat and visit the entire time, so you leave feeling more like a friend than a customer. That’s what I like best about partnering with Stauffer Farms. Eddie and Amy create such a warm and welcoming environment that I can’t imagine kicking off the Christmas season without a trip to their farm. In fact, when I wasn’t sure I could fit Christmas Mini Session at Stauffer Farms into my schedule, my husband wanted to offer to help them unload trees. Obviously it’s a tradition for us.
Starting the Christmas season at Stauffer Farms isn’t just a tradition for us. It’s a tradition for lots of families. I’m so blessed that some of those families have begun including pictures with me into their Stauffer Farms Christmas tradition. Come check out Stauffer Farms and I wouldn’t be surprised if it becomes a Christmas time tradition for you, too.
Enjoy a peak at some of the fun families I’ve captured at Stauffer Farms over the years. I hope you enjoy this post as much as I enjoyed putting it together! I loved looking back and seeing how little some some of the “kids” were! I’m so thankful for the relationships I’ve gotten to develop through this business. From the families in these pictures by the end of next year I will have photographed 3 of their weddings & 2 engagement session, 7 of them as seniors, and some of the families multiple times. I’m so thankful these families have given me the privileged of capturing so many special moments in their lives!
What are you thankful for this Thursday? Let me know in the comments.
