The trees lining Headwaters park were changing and a cool fall breeze was in the air. Shortly before leaving on fall break Autumn and her mom met me in downtown Fort Wayne for her fall senior session. We had so much fun exploring Headwaters and Promenade parks along with the nearby streets of downtown Fort Wayne.
The Sunday before her shoot Autumn was driving through Fort Wayne and excited messaged me that the leaves near Headwaters Park were turning colors! When we arrived, fallen leaves lined the sidewalk and made a beautiful location to start our shoot. Autumn looked stunning in her maroon red jumpsuit. It was such a nice fall color that contrasted nicely with the leaves. As we explored we found trees with berries almost exactly the same color as her jumpsuit! Of course we had to capture some images there! And what fall photo shoot is complete with out a leaf toss set? Autumn looked like a model!
Autumn was the very first senior to use my changing tent! She and her mom both loved it! No more trying to change discreetly in the back of a car! In an cute floral shirt and black jeans, we walked over to explore Promenade Park. Of course, we had to talk about how great the swings at the park are! Who doesn’t love them? The sea of white anemone flowers was my favorite spot in this park. They were beautiful and provided some fun layering in the images.
The amazing bridge at Promenade Park is always a must! They were doing construction on the bridge so we played around with angles to capture Autumn’s beauty, but NOT the construction! I love the image where she is framed by the structure!
As we walked through the streets of downtown Fort Wayne between the two parks we spotted some other locations we wanted to use. Autumn changed into an adorable dress with a blue-gray print. One of the fun finds Autumn and her mom found at Dry Goods, when they shopped for her session. A brick wall was one background Autumn and her mom thought would be fun- and we found the perfect spot! We also spotted an adorable English-looking cottage. The location and fading light definite made the cottage a lighting challenge, but we managed to capture a few images before it got too dark.
I hope you enjoy a little sneak peak of the fun we had during Autumn’s downtown Fort Wayne fall senior session!
