Emmy had such a fun senior session! She had so many fabulous ideas and we were able to fit so much in to one session! Emmy’s priorities for her senior session were capturing some nature images, some cheer pictures and some time at White Rock Barn.
After 50 years our local high school put in a turf football field! I didn’t know I could be impressed by a football field, but WOW, WOW, WOW! It is beautiful! So of course we planned her session around availability and then the timing around the availability of the football field. We started off with some nature shots in a grassy field! Emmy rocked these, despite the wind constantly whipping at her hair!
Between team warm-ups and guests arriving for the game we slipped over to the football field and had some fun! Emmy even did some tumbling ! Emmy is such a busy young lady! She cheers both football and basketball seasons, is a member of Student Council, and National Honor Society–so of course she’s a top notch student, too! As we walked and talked she shared that she scaled back her activities this year. She gave up dance in order to focus on her other activities and enjoying her senior year. I don’t know about you, but I think Emmy is wise beyond her years!
Emmy is active in her youth group. She also enjoying serving as an intern at the preschool based at her church. Emmy’s family is passionate about foster care and adoption, and through this she has two much younger siblings. Her youngest sibling attends the church preschool, making mornings interesting at times. Emmy recently she found out she was admitted to her top choice college! Congratulations Emmy you will be an amazing teacher!
Leaving her school we headed to White Rock Barn and beautiful local wedding venue! White Rock Barn is owned by Nate and Courtney Keller. As Courtney says on their Facebook page
” the farm itself has been in the Keller family since 1946 and the barn was originally build in the 1950’s. Nate grew up on this property and has many fond memories of youth group events held in the barn and playing basketball in the upper level of the “Keller dome”. I came into the picture a little after these events but still have many, many memories of watching my high school sweetheart build his first jeep in this very barn. All of this to say that this barn and business is VERY personal to us and we want to share our love of the space with you! We take pride in helping you to host an event that will create memories you will never forget and we are so excited to bring you White Rock Barn and Terrace!”
It was so fun to explore this space with Emmy and her mom! Thank you so much White Rock Barn for allowing us to capture this milestone in Emmy’s life in your beautiful space!
Sit back and enjoy a few of my favorites from this fun session!
