Spring Bloom Senior Rep Session

Meet Elena!  Elena is so fabulous and I’m so glad we were able to capture a spring bloom senior rep session for her!  I’ve always wanted to do a spring bloom session, but that window is so unpredictable and fleeting, especially this year!

When Elena gave me the date she was available for her rep session, I knew there was a possibility for spring blooms.  When I mentioned the idea to Elena, She thought images with the spring trees in bloom would be really pretty.  I’m so glad she liked the idea!

 

Mornings

Getting to know Elena a bit as searched for trees with beautiful blooms was one of the best  parts of the session.  Mornings aren’t Elena’s favorite.  However,  she willingly gave up a Saturday morning of sleeping in to meet me for her rep session.  She looked fabulous!  We started with a few fun architecture shots to warm up-it was a beautiful, but chilly morning!

Elena and her mom are on the worship team at church and shared with me what their Sundays look like.  I am so impressed, not only by their talent but by their commitment and dedication!  Unable to carry a tune or rhythm in a bucket,  I never had any idea how much time and energy go into preparing and participating in worship team during multiple services each Sunday.  When I asked Elena her favorite part of being on the worship team,  she replied that her favorite part is when she can hear the congregation singing along.  What a beautiful answer!

 

real. authentic. YOU

Elena and I met when she sang at her cousin’s wedding that I was fortunate enough to photograph.  Part of the reason she wanted to be a senior rep was because she liked her cousin’s wedding photographs and thought I’d be fun to work with. 🙂  She also loved the idea of participating in photography that could portray her “real. authentic. YOU.”   When asked Elena described it this way<

‘”Real authentic you” is the true passions within someone visibly a part of their life. “Real authentic you” is someone’s true ambitions, comforts, and beliefs on display for all to see without fear of judgement. Overall, I think “Real authentic you” is accepting and loving yourself and not changing anything within for the world.”

So much wisdom, in Elena’s words.

 

Dream Photoshoot

Elena described her dream photos shoot as:

“My dream photo shoot would include nature settings such as a river, greenhouse, flower field. My dream photoshoot would also display my love for music through a guitar, microphone, piano, ukulele, sheet music, etc. I am extremely open to creative photos and water photos have always been a dream too. “

Her spring bloom senior rep session definitely fits the nature, and possibly flower field parts of her dream photo shoot.  I can’t wait to explore creative ideas to incorporate her love of music as we move through her senior year!

 

The 2022 Senior Rep search is still underway.  We’ll be filling spots as we find teens who are truly a good fit, and don’t want you to miss out!  Spots are limited!  I could not be more excited about this upcoming senior season and can’t wait to work with YOU!
