The Lodge at River Valley Farm

Are you looking for an amazing wedding venue with a cozy feel of home?  The Lodge at River Valley Farm is beyond amazing!!!  My last wedding of 2020 was at the Lodge and I absolutely fell in love with this venue and the staff!  It’s so fabulous I don’t even know where to start!

My favorite feature!

Ok, so who doesn’t want to have a sleep over with their best girlfriends the night before their wedding?  I did and it was wonderful!  Staying up late, reminiscing, just enjoying deep friendships.  The Lodge at River Valley Farm, knows how special this time is for the bride and bridesmaids!  That’s why they offer a sleepover option at the farmhouse.

After the rehearsal, stay up late with your girls, and wake up the next morning and get ready for your wedding all in one space!  No hauling of bags, no forgetting anything as you leave that morning…  It’s perfect!  The sleepover option was a total selling point for my November bride!

 

 

The Farmhouse

The whole farmhouse is the ideal bridal location!  It is  “…the beautifully restored farmhouse from the 1850’s with all the modern amenities to fit in to a busy bride’s day of readiness.” according to Anna.   There’s a small living room area to hang out in, and a kitchenette, with refrigerator and sink.     The spacious dining area is filled with natural light and has a coffee bar making it the ideal space for hair and make-up, even daddy-daughter first look.

The Guys

The Lodge takes good care of the guys, too.  The have their own building for getting ready and hanging out enjoying some guy time.

 

Ceremony Options

The Lodge at River Valley Farm offers two ceremony location options; a lovely outdoor pergola and a beautiful stone fireplace inside the Lodge.

The bride will captivate her groom and guests as she walks down the long winding sidewalk that creates the perfect “aisle” as it leads to the  pergola.   The charming  pergola has full white columns and overhead lattice, surrounded by lush greenery.  It is the perfect structure for portraits or an outdoor ceremony.  Decorated, it creates an even more stunning backdrop.

 

Outdoor Fireplace

The covered outdoor fireplace was fabulous during this cold windy November wedding.

The Lodge

“Located just a mere sidewalk away [from the farmhouse] is the 5,000 square foot masterpiece fully enclosed space, The Lodge. Boasting a floor plan complete with a reception area, dance floor with twinkle wrapped post and beams from the original 1850’s barn, window lined dining area with stone covered fireplace and mantle, catering room and indoor restrooms” is how Anna described the Lodge.  The stone fireplace, creates a beautiful backdrop for a cozy imitate ceremony.   The Lodge’s staff will make sure the fireplace is lit, so even on the coldest winter day, you and your guests will enjoy the inviting atmosphere forgetting about the weather outside.

 

The Staff

The staff at The Lodge at River Valley Farm is absolutely amazing!  They make sure every detail is taken care of!  From cookies to greet you when you arrive, to making sure the wedding day flows smoothly.  I know I’ve used the word perfect a lot, but they truly are exceptional!  Throughout the entire wedding day they were never intrusive, but always on hand when anything was needed!  From holding items during photos, to fetching bridal party members, to moving furniture they were always there!  They do all of those things along with all the other details that a venue manages to make sure the day goes smoothly.  Did I mention they are incredibly pleasant, welcoming and personable too!
