2020 Senior Rep Kaitlyn

Meet 2020 Senior Rep Kaitlyn!  She is an absolute delight and her session was so much fun!  I’ve been so blessed  to know Kaitlyn and her family since my first year in business, when her mom asked me to take their family pictures.   Since then I have been fortunate to get to watch her and her siblings grow-up through their yearly sessions.  I can’t help but think back to that long ago session at how little they all were.  Kaitlyn is the oldest in her family, so of course  was elected to be the first to get her individual photos taken .  Thankfully at she was also the least reluctant!  She has grown into such a lovely young lady!

Working towards the future

Kaitlyn is smart, determined and hard working.  She would like to become and doctor and is already working toward that goal.  Through a program at her high school she is has will soon earn her Certified Nurses Aid licence.  This will open so many doors for good job experiences as she goes through college!  She’ll be able to gain experience in the medical field, make connections, earn a bit better wage and hopefully meet many wonderful patients along the way.

She also works hard in the classroom, and was recently inducted into her high school’s chapter of National Honor Society.  I was so impressed to hear how she’s intentionally seeking volunteer opportunities with future scholarships in mind.

 

Dance Dance Dance

In her spare time, Kaitlyn enjoys dancing ballet.  She has taken lessons for years beginning on pointe will still in middle school!  In recent years she’s also begun assisting in the younger classes.  It was so fun to incorporate some shots of her in her pointe shoes into her senior rep session!

 

Dream Photo shoot

Years of working together, made us both eager to work together for her senior pictures.  When Kaitlyn was a freshman her mom, feeling how fast the years would go, mentioned “before they knew it” I’d be taking her senior pictures.  Of course, I mentioned how I’d love to have her as a senior rep. 🙂  On her senior rep application, Kaitlyn shared one of her reasons for wanting to be a rep was that “it would be a great experience to have a partnership for my senior pictures with people I’m comfortable posing around.”

In talking about her dream photo shoot, Kaitlyn  had this to say, “I don’t have a dream location but more a dream feeling while taking the pictures. I would love to have a time captured where I feel comfortable in myself and confident. I want to be able to look at my senior photos and be happy with the time and product.”  

Kaitlyn I had so much fun with you at your senior rep session! I’m so glad to have you as part of the senior rep team!  I can’t wait for our next session together!
