Metea Park Senior Session

Kaela totally rocked her Metea Park senior session!  I first met Kaela and her family at Starbucks to plan her senior session.    Kaela had a delightful innocence and enthusiasm about her.    Flowers were Kaela’s number one request of what to include in her senior session!  YES!!!!!  🙂  I knew right away I was going to love working with her!

It was finally session day!  I arrived at Metea Park a little early to scout things out.  It was a nice sunny day  but clouds were threatening to the west.  15 minutes later it was raining.  Shortly after they arrived outside the gate it was hailing!!!!  We had a fun laugh texting about that!  We finally decided to call it and rescheduled her session.

Kaela was blessed with a sun-fill senior session, a nice change from the week before.  As we explored Metea Park, Kaela shared that her senior year, had ramped up and was crazy busy with projects and papers right before fall break.   We loved the variety of locations offered by the park and captured images on a wooded trail, a couple fields of flowers and even found some beautiful red leafed trees!

When she’s not studying, Kaela enjoys reading and drawing,  She’s not sure of what she wants to study in college yet, but has considered a field working with animals.  Her tender heart and love of animals was clear during our session.  She delighted in the small wildlife she saw.  We even got a picture of a caterpillar she spotted while posing.   Like many seniors she’s applying to colleges and navigating the COVID challenge of virtual college visits.

Kaela was so fun to work with!  Her easy laugh was contagious and photographed beautifully.  I touched by the trust she and her family put in me as we captured her images.  “Trust her, she knows what she’s doing” are music to a photographers ears! 🙂  Kaela reached super model status as she went from giggling to serious model face and back to smiles, looking effortlessly beautiful the entire time!
