When I contaced Aimee and Noah about an anniversary session to celebrate their first anniversary, they were so excited. They said they didn’t even know anniversary session were a thing. Noah suggested Ouabache State Park for their fall anniversary session. We shot their engagement session their, and so many sessions of Noah’s family over the years. Noah and Aimee were going to be back-in-town over Halloween weekend for a get together and it worked out to be the perfect time for their session.
While fall foilage colors had been predicted to peak early this year, as we all know, they did not! The last weekend of October gave us amazing fall colors! As I’ve taken pictures of Noah’s family over the years, we know we can always count on this one tree, to have exceptional color and be low enough to easily fit into pictures. We headed to that tree first. Our tried and true tree, did NOT disappoint!
Aimee and Noah shared a bit about their first year of marriage. Aimee works for the same company and has advanced her her position over the past year. Noah spent a year teaching computers in a school as part of the AmeriCorp program. (I hope I got the correct program). He’s still working in the computer field and is crazy smart! He also spends sometime volunteering in his field. Aimee and I comiserated over not really understanding, when our husbands tell us what they did at work that day. Every field has a specific lingo, that you have to be active in that field to fully understand, especially computer science and engineering. 😉
They have both been able to work from home throughout their marriage. Which works well, since their favorite part of being married, is just being together. Aimee does mosts of the cooking, but Noah rocks the weekends with a fancy breakfast. Slow Saturday mornings with a cup of coffee are their favorite. Their a favorite at our house too, can you relate?
We reminsced about their beautiful wedding day and how much fun it was. They also shared about their family trip over the summer to Yellowstone National Park. This is on our bucket list and I asked for any insight they could share. I so wish I could remember the name of Noah’s favorite trail!
The clearly enjoy each other very much! I love the sweetness of their relationship and how they enjoy having fun together. I didn’t think to ask them if they have advice for newly engaged or married couples. But from spending some time with them, I would say, enjoy each other and don’t forget to have fun together.
Sit back and enjoy a sneak peack at Aime and Noah’s beatufiul Ouabache fall anniversary session.
Completing your first year of marriage is definitely high five worthy! I’m not good at actually capturing the moment of high-five contact. That’s ok, I’m not good at high-fiving, either.
A skirt like Aimee’s just says twirl please!
