A Country Church Wedding

Hannah and Landon chose a country church wedding at their home church in Decatur, Indiana .  Family and friends gathered to celebrate them on a picture perfect day, with blue skies and mild temperatures–a blessing in late July.

A very organized couple

Hannah and Landon are so sweet together. I loved seeing how they looked at each other, clearly thrilled that their wedding day had finally arrived!  Hannah was an incredibly organized bride!  She had an enviable wedding planner that she brought to our meetings and it helped her to implement a flawless wedding day.  She and Landon created a detailed timeline that accounted for everything, and communicated well to everyone,  it was amazing!  All their planning and hard work prior to the wedding paid off.  On the big day they were able to relax and enjoy themselves.  Exactly what every couple should be able to do!

College sweethearts

I love their story, it’s the kind of thing you read about in a romance novel.  When I first met them at their engagement session last fall, Hannah described them as a couple, that “everyone else knew they should be a couple” before they did.  They met in a college math class where their shared hard work ethic led them to study together.  In her speech, the matron of honor, Suzy, shared more details of the evolution of Hannah and Landon’s sweet relationship from study partners, to friends,  to the romance we were all there to celebrate.   In his best man speech, Tristan, a college classmate, shared how much he enjoyed his friendship with both Hannah and Landon and how well suited they were for each other.

 

So much talent

Hannah and Landon are smart and talented with an amazing set of talented friends!  I just have to brag on them for a moment!  Hannah, Landon and Tristan were at the top of their class together in college.  Hannah used her talents, with some help from friends, to paint several signs for the wedding, including a guestbook sign!  She did an amazing job!   The matron of honor also created the beautiful bridal bouquet and other florals for the wedding.  The DJ, Cameron,  is a cousin of the groom, who is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, as well as running an audio business in his spare time. His  choice of music was so fun, and there may have been a little dancing while I was taking pictures– I promise I tried to keep it to a minimum!

I was so blessed to spend the day with this sweet couple and their friends and family.  Enjoy a peak into their special day, here are some of my favorites!
