Fall Morning Family Session

What a blessed mom my sweet friend Holly is! I don’t know any mom who wouldn’t love family pictures for her birthday and Holly’s family was willing to travel to make it happen!  Holly’s son traveled from Chicago, while her daughter’s family traveled from Indianapolis.  They arrived to make their fall morning family session and then had plans to explore Swiss Heritage Historic community.  Spending the day with family sounds like a wonderful birthday!

 

Volunteering

Holly is such a gem!  I met her years ago in a local walking/running group and instantly clicked with her.  She’s so sweet and vivacious, with such a heart for others.  Recently I’ve gotten to know her so much more through volunteering together at Forgotten Children Worldwide.  Once a week she leads our little packing group in sorting and packing clothes to be shipped over seas to help those less fortunate.    She leads us with kindness, caring, humor helping our group to bond.  She sends weekly reminder texts, and never criticizes when a certain photographer is absent for weeks on end during the busy season. 🙂

 

Family

I loved getting to meet Holly’s entire family.  I had heard so much about them.  Her little granddaughter H is absolutely adorable!  She transitioned from a car ride from Indianapolis straight into a photo session like a champ!  Our mini session didn’t allow for getting acquainted time, and I’m pretty sure she saw me as the big scary lady with the camera.  Even my small 5’2″ frame is big to a toddler!  She wanted to stick close to her mom and dad, and as long as they were right there she was golden!
