Golden Hour Summer Engagement Session

Oh my word!  Tyler and Cierra had the most beautiful golden hour summer engagement session!  Just days after Tyler and Cierra became engaged, he entered the Big Birthday Bash engagement session giveaway and won!  Between their busy schedule and mine, it took a bit to get their session in.  Then we had to reschedule because the heat and humidity were so bad!  If you don’t have curly hair, curly hair + humidity aren’t the best mix.   (I’m speaking from personal experience here!  Have you ever felt your hair getting bigger???).  All worked out well because they had fabulous weather for their session and they looked stunning!

 

I was so excited to work with Tyler and Cierra!  I was blessed to take Tyler’s senior pictures.  He’s such a great guy and so fun to work with.  In our small community, it’s surprising I had never actually met Cierra, although I know her family.  I couldn’t wait to meet her!  I was so nervous for their engagement session!  Hopefully, I didn’t put my foot in my mouth too many times!

 

Their Story

Cierra and Tyler were high school sweethearts.    They have grown and deepened their relationship over the years.   They broke up and were led back together through a lot of prayer!  Once they reconnected, they quickly knew they were meant to stay together.   They looked at engagement rings together online and planned to do more looking in person.  Tyler had other plans.  He took the ideas they had seen and chose a beautiful pear-shaped diamond setting with a unique rose gold band!  He planned a sweet surprise proposal and both of their families were waiting to celebrate with them.

 

They have made remarkable progress in planning their wedding in the few short months that they have been engaged.  It is going to be beautiful!

 

Tyler and Cierra have such a sweetness about them.  They clearly love and adore each other.  I love the sweet ways they look at each other and delight in each other!  Sit back, grab a cold ice tea and enjoy a sneak peek of their beautiful golden hour summer engagement session at Ouabache State Park .
